NRE TV
NRE TV videos are available in three flavors. High and Low bandwith Microsoft (.wmv) streaming formats are provided. In addition, a non streaming very high quality Apple H.264 (640X480 .m4v) is available for download. To view the (.m4v) files you will need to first download the entire file. You may need to download the Apple Quick time Player to play the new H.264 MPEG 4 format. Quick Time player 7.1 or later is required.
In general, the high bandwith (.wmv) is about ten times larger than the low bandwith (.wmv) file. Apple (.m4v) is about twice the size of the high bandwidth (.wmv.). The size of the files may be important if your internet connection is slow. A few files can be very large, as large as 200 MB.
To Save These NRE TV Videos
To save these files for your own use or to share the videos with others, we ask that you do not alter the videos. Windows Media player is generally used to play the Microsoft format videos. After watching the video you may save the video to your hard drive from the player. Choose File, then click save as to your location. If you choose the IPOD format, this video will likely play within Windows internet explorer. If you own Quick Time Player Pro( $29 from Apple), you will be able to right click the video and save it. If you only own the free Quick Time player, you will need to find the Quick Time file in the temporary internet files of your hard drive. These files stand out by their large size in the folder. Usually you will find the files at: C/Documents and settings/…your log in account/Local Settings/Temporary Internet files/. Look for the large M4V file. NRE TV videos have been posted on sites all over the world and have millions of viewers.

Microsoft (.wmv) files are 320 by 240.
